Areas I Still Need to Work on in My Writing

Some areas that I still need to work on in order to make my writing better are the use of commas to avoid comma splices, being able to meet the length requirement without a problem, and making my writing interesting and not too boring to read. I have always had a problem with commas in my papers. This may seem like a silly issue but when it comes to the overall development of the paper, commas really do matter. I always either use too many commas or not enough commas. When I use too many commas, it can result in my paper having a lot of comma splices. Another thing I need to work on is being able to meet the length requirement without having to fluff the paper up too much. One last thing I need to work on in my writing is making it interesting and enjoyable for the readers to read. I can usually make my writing interesting if the topic of the blog post is a free post, but I need to work on being able to make it interesting if the topic is the most boring topic ever. When writing my papers during sophomore year, I am going to remember the things I need to work on and try to fix the things I need to work on to make the paper better.
